A perennial turmeric plant from the ginger family can reach a height of up to one meter. On an industrial scale, it is grown today in Japan and China, India and Indonesia. Turmeric is considered the most popular seasoning in these parts.
For the preparation of spices, only the rhizome of Indian saffron (the second name of the plant) is used, but the plant itself is quite decorative. Small flowers are combined into large (up to 20 cm in length) inflorescences and boast very beautiful bracts. For phalaenopsis, four-shield feeding is not a mandatory departure point. This orchid blooms both with regular fertilizer application during the phase of active leaf growth and vegetation, and with only 1-2 feeding in summer.
During flowering, and if a dormant period is issued, phalaenopsis tetraspis cannot be fed. But otherwise it’s better to use the standard strategy – to add fertilizer to the water in the standard dosage specified by the manufacturer at every third watering.
